Tiny Tots

This class is geared toward 3-5 year olds! Dancers will do ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop in each class! This lets them explore multiple genres of dance and helps keep them interested.


Dress Code: any leotard, tights, pink ballet or tan jazz shoes and tan tap shoes, hair in high tight bun.

Sparkle Dancers

This class is geared towards6-8 year olds! Dancers will do ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop in each class! This will help keep their interest, while letting them discover which style(s) of dance they like best!


Dress Code: any leotard, tights, pink ballet or tan jazz shoes and tan tap shoes, hair in high tight bun.

Ballet

Offered to all ages in various levels, ballet is the foundation of dance. Every style of dance references back to ballet. It teaches musicality, discipline, and poise. Body placement, flexibility, balance, alignment, strength, and techniques are achieved through barre and center floor work. Ballet technique is essential for strength, power and execution for each dancer.


Dress Code: black leotard, skirt (optional), pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in tight high bun.

Jazz

These classes feature a concentration in strong jazz technique. Through proper warm up, effective stretching, body isolation and floor work (incorporating center floor and across the floor combinations), each level builds on the previous one leading to a greater understanding and proper execution of the many styles of jazz dance.


Dress Code: fitted dance wear, tan jazz shoes, hair in a tight pony tail or bun.

Contemporary & Lyrical

Offered to ages 8 & up, contemporary is a modern dance form which fuses modern dance, jazz, and ballet. It is often compared to lyrical.  Lyrical is an expressive form of ballet, usually danced to mimic the song's lyrics.


Dress Code: fitted dance wear, pirouette shoes, and hair in a tight bun.

Hip Hop

Offered to ages 4 & up in various levels. This class teaches rhythm, musicality, coordination, and age appropriate choreography. This is an excellent class for high energy kids who want to take a fast and fun dance class. Dancers are encouraged to push themselves to explore new movements. 


Dress Code: comfortable clothing, black dance sneakers, hair pulled back.

Tap

Offered to all ages in various levels, tap combines the study of rhythm, precision, and fluidity of movement and style. Tap dancing is an excellent way to increase coordination and develop musicality.


Dress Code: fitted dance wear, tan tap shoes, hair pulled back in a tight pony tail or bun.

Technique

This is a non-recital class to help improve skills. This class is for students that are striving to be the best dancers they can be. The focus is to perfect different jumps, leaps, and turns. Competitive teams are required to take this class.


Dress Code: fitted dance wear, hair in a tight bun, and dance shoes.

Competitive Dance Teams

Competition teams are formed from tryouts. This is a way to make life-long friends and master skills, by gaining stage experience and confidence.  Teams: Mini Elite, Mini Hip Hop, Junior Elite, Junior Hip Hop, & Senior Elite. Each level requires more practices and technique than the one before.


Dress Code: tight fitting dance wear, hair in a tight bun, and dance shoes.

Belly Dancing

This is for adults only. Belly dance is primarily a torso-driven dance, with emphasis on articulations of the hips. Unlike many Western dance forms, the focus of the dance is isolation of the torso muscles, rather than on movements of the limbs through space.
